ReNu Solar's primary goal in their marketing besides getting more clients was to really position themselves as the expert by educating the consumer on the benefits of solar and dispelling myths many may have.
Our creative idea for their plan married the education/dispelling myths aspect by featuring a conversation between two neighbors in their yard and a humorous metaphor of giving a face and personality to the "sun." The neighbor with the new solar panels has the great benefit of having the sun work for him now!
The strategy behind this concept incorporated the overall branding message to be featured in TV and streaming platforms with more personality and fun to the sun character in social videos for a campaign on those platforms.
